Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters--which they are continuously unsuccessful at keeping. One Minion named Kevin, however, has a plan, and he and two of his Minions cohorts venture out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.

Armed with an arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, criminal mastermind Gru and his crew of mischievous little yellow minions plot to pull off the craziest crime of the century: steal the moon! But when he uses a trio of orphaned girls as pawns in his scheme, their determination to turn him into their dad threatens his reputation as a supervillain.
