Description
For decades, milk has been synonymous with a healthy diet. This documentary examines the truth of this notion. Microbiologists and doctors explain the difference between traditional and industrial milk production. What we call ‘milk’ is not necessarily what we think it is. Industrial production exposes a vicious circle: increased efficiency through concentrated feed leads to diseases in cows that are treated with antibiotics leaving drug residues in the milk. There are increasing concerns that modern milk may be the reason for allergies, intolerances, even cancer.
